May 2004, the Missouri Historical Society marked the centennial
of the Louisiana Purchase Expedition with the opening of The
1904 World's Fair: Looking Back at Looking Forward. The
exceptional new exhibition, organized by the Missouri Historical
Society, opened at the Missouri History Museum in Forest Park,
St. Louis, Missouri on May 2, 2004 and will be on view through
2008.
