Mueller, contractor and builder, 3500 Hebert Street, St. Louis, Mo., to Mr. Logan and Mr. Busse. Note reads, "I propose to erect your two Story brick residence to be built on the South Side of Lotus Ave East of Kingshighway Furnish all material and labor according to plans and Specifications prepared by Edw. F. Nolte Archi. for the Sum of Five Thousand and Ninty Eight Dollars." Includes handwritten notes on back of document. 1908 Aug 26 1 2 Contract between J. Chas. Mueller, contractor, and Frederick William Busse and wife and Charles William Logan and wife, owners, for the erection of a two-story brick residence to be built on Lotus Ave. east of Kingshighway. Edw. F. Nolte is the architect. 1908 Aug 27 1 2 Note on the letterhead of J. Chas. Mueller, contractor and builder, 3500 Hebert Street, St. Louis, Mo., to Mr. Logan and Mr. Busse. Note reads, "The credit for difference between Red and White Morter, $20.00; changing Ashpit from cement to brick, 6.00; Difference Bt Marble & Slate Sinks, 16.00." 1908 Sept 3 1 2 Typescript letter signed G.M. Bishop, St. Louis Hardware & Builders' Supply Co., 4920 Easton Avenue, St. Louis, Mo., to Mr. Logan, 5041 Wells Ave. Letter reads in part, "We will furnish the builders hardware, sliding door hangers, blind hinges, sash weights and cord as per plans specifications and samples selected for your residence on Lotus Avenue for the sum of Fifty Seven Dollars. . . ." 1908 Sept 22 1 2 Note signed J. Chas. Mueller, contractor and builder, 3500 Hebert Street, St. Louis, Mo., to Mr. Logan and Mr. Busse. Note reads, "I would like for youse to get your deed of Trust fixed up for Building at 4970 Lotus. As we have the roof on Building. These are the Prices on the questions you asked over Phone. Letter of recommendation for F.W. Busse who worked as a bookkeeper and order clerk in the Hosiery and Underwear Department at the Ferguson-McKinney Dry Goods Company. Letterhead includes illustration of Ferguson-McKinney building. 1914 Dec 10 1 4 Seven printed advertising cards of Charles W. Logan titled "Meet Me at the Mart, July 8th to 20th."
