Accessibility

The Missouri History Museum is committed to providing an inclusive environment by ensuring that our buildings, collections, exhibitions, programs, and services are accessible to all.

For more information about any of our accessibility services or to offer suggestions on how we might expand upon our offerings, please contact us at access@mohistory.org.

The Missouri History Museum, located in Forest Park, is wheelchair accessible. Ramps are located at the entrances on the Lindell Boulevard side and the park side of the building. Elevators are available for visitors attending meetings, exhibitions, Bixby's, or programming located above and below the main level.

Wheelchairs are also available inside both entrances of the Museum. There is no fee to use them, but we do ask to hold a state ID until they're returned.

The Library and Research Center, located at 225 South Skinker Boulevard, is wheelchair accessible as well. The accessible entrance is located on the ground floor next to the staircase that leads up to the main entrance. An elevator is available to take patrons to the reading room on the second floor.

To plan your visit, see our Hours and Info page.
