Find out about Group Programs for this exhibit

On any given night, there are approximately 200,000 homeless veterans on the streets or in shelters. There are another 1.5 million at risk for homelessness. Statistics do not have faces. While statistics about the number of homeless veterans in the United States are staggering, they do not show the people behind the issue. Statistics cannot make visible the toll of this epidemic. They cannot express the despair or the determination that lives in these men and women. St. Louis photographer Jerry Tovo has given voice to the hundreds of thousands of U.S. veterans who find themselves homeless each year.
