Exhibition Private Rental: Offer your guests a private after-hours viewing of one of the Missouri History Museum’s continuing or special exhibitions.
Guided Exhibition Tours: Private tours led by knowledgeable and experienced guides add an enhanced experience to exhibition viewing.
Private Curator Talks: A talk by the curators who created and researched the exhibitions provides fascinating and insightful discussions for your group.
Theatre in the Museum: Let your guests experience a special performance of a dramatic interpretation of a historical figure or topic. Choose from a selection of one-person plays inspired by the Museum’s current exhibitions.
Millstone Learning Center (16-25 persons)
For a meeting or full-day retreat, the Millstone Learning Center offers a private, well-appointed space ideal for roundtable discussions. Located on the second floor, this space commands a spectacular view of Forest Park. In addition, the Millstone can host a lovely private lunch or party.
AT&T Foundation Multipurpose Room (90–125 persons)
The AT&T Foundation Multipurpose Room is an ideal space for private workshops and social events. This bright room is decorated with large historical photographs, and the space can be arranged in almost any format (lecture, classroom, seated meal or reception).
Lee Auditorium (332 persons)
Business meetings and retreats will be a perfect fit in the Lee Auditorium theater space. It features a 33-foot-wide stage, padded theater seats, and additional space for wheelchairs. Two dressing rooms and restrooms are available backstage.
Bank of America Atrium (150 persons)
This light and airy space, adjacent to the Lee Auditorium on the Museum’s lower level, is an excellent choice for a private reception.
MacDermott Grand Hall (250–400 persons)
One of the main focal and gathering areas of the Missouri History Museum, the MacDermott Grand Hall, features a unique River Mosaic and the Spirit of St. Louis, the sister plan to Charles Lindbergh's aircraft. It is a popular site for dinners, receptions, and private special events.
Bixby’s Restaurant (90–100 persons)
Located on the second floor of the Museum and offering spectacular views of Forest Park, Bixby’s is an outstanding setting for a dinner meeting, evening party, or private reception.
