Girl Scout Day

Girl Scouts are invited to participate in merit-assistance programs to complete badge requirements with other scouts! These interactive programs are led by our museum educators and use elements from our collections and St. Louis history. Each merit-assistance program costs $5 per scout, and advanced registration is required. Scouts can register individually or as a group.

For Daisies:
We invite Daisies to join us in our The 1904 World's Fair: Looking Back at Looking Forward gallery to complete all of the requirements for the Vi Petal. We'll read Vi's story, Friends Around the World, create murals, and participate in hands-on activities enjoyed by girls in other countries. Join us at the following times: 10:00am, 12:30pm, or 2:00pm
For Brownies: 
We invite Brownies to join us in the Seeking St. Louis: Reflections gallery and our The 1904 World's Fair: Looking Back at Looking Forward gallery to complete all of the requirements for the Celebrating Community Legacy Badge. Join us at the following times: 10:00am, 12:30pm, or 2:00pm
For Juniors:
We invite Juniors to join us in the Seeking St. Louis: Currents & Reflections galleries to complete requirements for the Playing the Past Skill Building Badge. Join us at the following times: 10:00am, 12:30pm, or 2:00pm

Optional Activities for all Girl Scouts:
Please join us for these additional activities before or after your merit-assistance program. These activities are included with the cost of your merit-assistance program and do not require registration.

Lunchtime with Mama Lisa - Peabody Promise: Now That We're In
What was it like to live in the Clinton-Peabody Projects during the 1960s? Mama Lisa will intrigue and entertain with her story of urban life in downtown St. Louis. Bring your own sack lunch!

Build Your Own Hero Workshop
What’s your idea of the perfect superhero? Drop into the workshop any time from to create your own miniature superheroes and design superhero masks.

Registration is as easy as 1, 2, 3! Beginning September 13th, click the [REGISTER] link below.

  1. Choose your desired date and time for your troop level. 
  2. Enter the number of Scouts attending. (Up to 15 Scouts per timeslot)
  3. Complete your contact and payment information.

You'll receive an email confirming your order with additional information to help you prepare for your visit!

Registration closes 10 days prior to each event. We cannot make changes to reservations or issue refunds for cancellations after this date.
