Cub Scout Day

Cub Scouts are invited to participate in merit-assistance programs to complete badge requirements with other scouts! These interactive programs are led by our museum educators and use elements from our collections and St. Louis history. Each merit-assistance program costs $5 per scout, and advanced registration is required. Scouts can register individually or as a group.

For Tigers:
We invite Tigers to join us in the Seeking St. Louis: Currents & Reflections galleries to complete some of the requirements* for the Tiger Tales Adventure. Join us at the following times: 10:00am or 12:00pm
For Wolves: 
We invite Wolves to join us in the Seeking St. Louis: Currents gallery and our The 1904 World's Fair: Looking Back at Looking Forward gallery to complete some of the requirements* for the Council Fire Adventure. Join us at the following times: 11:00am or 1:00pm
For Bears:
We invite Bears to join us in the History Clubhouse and the #1 in Civil Rights: The African American Freedom Struggle in St. Louis gallery to complete some of the requirements* for the Paws for Action Adventure. Join us at the following times: 10:00am or 12:00pm
For Webelos: 
We invite Webelos to join us in the Seeking St. Louis: Reflections the #1 in Civil Rights: The African American Freedom Struggle in St. Louis gallery to complete some of the requirements* for the Build My Own Hero Adventure. Join us at the following times: 10:00am or 12:00pm

*Given the depth and breadth of these adventures, only some of the requirements can be fulfilled at the Museum. Please contact scouts@mohistory.org for a list of the requirements completed during each merit-assistance program.

Optional Activities for all Cub Scouts:
Please join us for these additional activities before or after your merit-assistance program. These activities are included with the cost of your merit-assistance program and do not require registration.

Flag Workshops
Meet local Air Force veteran Mike Berenc and learn about the American flag in this hands-on workshop. Cub Scouts will help lead a flag ceremony, recite the Pledge of Allegiance and practice folding the American flag. All Cub Scouts are welcome. This workshop fulfills some requirements for Wolves, Bears, and Webelos.

Build Your Own Hero Workshop
What’s your idea of the perfect superhero? Drop into the workshop any time from to create your own miniature superheroes and design superhero masks. This workshop fulfills some requirements for Webelos, but all Scouts are welcome.

Registration is as easy as 1, 2, 3! Beginning September 13th, click the [REGISTER] link below.

  1. Choose your desired date and time for your troop level. 
  2. Enter the number of Scouts attending. (Up to 15 Scouts per timeslot)
  3. Complete your contact and payment information.

You'll receive an email confirming your order with additional information to help you prepare for your visit!

Registration closes 10 days prior to each event. We cannot make changes to reservations or issue refunds for cancellations after this date.
