Human Rights Celebration
Health care is included in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Why hasn't the United States ratified the International Convention on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights which contains the right to health? Should income determine the quality of your health care? Why do racial disparities exist in health care regardless of income? What do you think about the current public debate on health care? Join us as a panel of experts addresses issues surrounding health care today. The program will also recognize winning essays by Metro St. Louis area students in the 13th annual Human Rights Essay contest sponsored by the St. Louis Coalition for Human Rights.
