High school classes have the option of exploring the galleries in a self-guided fashion. Self-guided visits include a brief introduction and orientation by our education staff, and are then entirely facilitated by the adult, school leaders. Reservation policies and chaperone ratio policies do apply to all self-guided visits. Each gallery you wish to explore must be reserved. 1 adult is required for every 10 students.
Self-guided visits work best when:
- groups are small
- teachers have prepared activities
- teachers have communicated their goals with the students
*Please note: if you are reserving a guided Gallery + Classroom program and you would like your group to explore other galleries before or after your program, you must reserve those galleries for a self-guided visit.
