Early Childhood Group Visit Request Form

Thank you for choosing to visit the Missouri History Museum in Forest Park! All groups requesting an early childhood program must complete and submit this form at least 4 weeks in advance to secure a reservation.

Please understand that your visit is not finalized until you receive a confirmation letter via email.

Please indicate the number of youth visiting from each age category.

Our guided Early Childhood programs are best suited for children ages 2-6, and History Clubhouse is a gallery designed specifically to engage children ages 2-10. If your group skews on the older side, feel free to check out our school programs and submit a request for a group visit with our K-12 Museum Educators.

Note – 1 adult per every 6 children is required

The Missouri History Museum is accessible to persons with disabilities and seeks to serve every group and every child. If you would like us to use any particular approaches with your group, please describe your goals here (Lindsay Newton, youth & family programs manager, also welcomes your email at lnewton@mohistory.org):

When would you like to visit?

Please indicate three dates that would work for your group. Programs are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays as early as 9:30am, and on Tuesdays and Fridays as early as 11:30am. These programs may be reserved during weekend hours for a fee of $150 per group.

Please check the program(s) you’re interested in reserving for your group. We recommend groups schedule only one thematic program per visit. To learn more about our exhibits, click HERE

Early Childhood Group Policies Agreement

Lunch Policy:
Since the Missouri History Museum facilitates and hosts a variety of daily events, we do not have space for groups to eat lunch inside the Museum.
Please make arrangements to eat prior to arrival, on your bus, outside in Forest Park, or elsewhere off-site.

Cancellation Policy:
All guided programs at the Missouri History Museum are free of charge. However, because guided experiences require the use of Museum resources and personnel, we require at least seven days’ notice for any cancellation of a guided program. A cancellation as early as possible is requested so groups on our waiting list can be confirmed.
In the event of a cancellation with less than 7 days’ notice, or in the event of a no-show, we will bill your group a $50 cancellation fee. Days when schools and daycares are cancelled (as for inclement weather) are the only exception to this policy.

Weekend Visit Policy:
Effective September 1st, 2016, any group of 24 or more children in History Clubouse and/or an early childhood group registered for a guided program on a Saturday or Sunday will be charged $150.

No visit will be considered booked (no times, galleries, or guides reserved) until a confirmation letter has been issued by the Missouri History Museum.
